Pickleball with Park Partners - Beginner (18+)

The Long Grove Park District in cooperation with the Village of Hawthorn Woods is proud to offer co-ed +18 Pickleball courses for both beginners and intermediate levels.

This class is for those who have never played Pickleball before or who have very limited experience with the sport. It will focus on Pickleball basics such as forehand and backhand shots, serving and court positioning. Players will also learn scoring and rules of the game through drills and playing time. The slower pace of this class will give players the opportunity to develop the skills needed to play this fun and energetic game.

Class Information:

• Age: 18+

• Duration: 5 Week Session

  • Session 1: June 6th - July 11th (No Class 7/4/24)

  • Session 2: July 25th - August 22nd

• Day/Time: Thursdays, 3:00PM - 4:00PM

• Location: Bridlewood Park located at 18 Thornfield Lane, Hawthorn Woods

• Notes: Class Managed by 5 Star Sports and is part of our Park Partners Program with the Village of Hawthorn Woods.
