JOIN US AT REED-TURNER WOODLAND SATURDAY, APRIL 20TH

COME CELEBRATE OUR WOODLAND AND OUR PLANET!

At the Long Grove Park District, our mission is to protect our natural lands for the benefit of present and future residents. Join us Saturday, April 20th at the Reed-Turner Nature Center where we will celebrate all that nature has to offer as well as learn what we can do to keep our planet safe.

The day will be focused on bringing awareness to our everyday impact, what steps we can take to protect the Earth and, finally, create experiences for participants to help grow their appreciation of nature.

Outside we will have crafts and educational activities for young and old, guided hikes, fun sports-driven games for the kids, yoga for all in the courtyard and much more! Inside we will feature our inaugural Earth Day Craft Fair from local artisans featuring items that have been repurposed or have a special emphasis on nature.

For over 50 years, Earth Day is a day where people all over the world come together to celebrate our planet and show their support for environmental protection. Join us as we have fun and learn what we can do to help save our planet!

Tickets are $5 per person and include all activities and access to the craft show. Due to the overall support of this event and parking constraints, a time selection is required. Please select 10:00AM, 12:00PM or 2:00PM for 2 hours of Earth Day fun! Please note, the owl demonstration will NOT take place during the 2:00 timeslot. Thank you for your understanding!

Come on out and have fun, learn about nature and help us raise money for our great Woodland!

Want to be even more part of the fun?

We are looking for sponsors, volunteers, artisans and donations!
