Refund & Cancellation Policy

The Long Grove Park District strives to offer affordable and quality recreation programs. In order to ensure programs are cost-effective, the Park District reserves the right to cancel a class in the event of low enrollment.

A 100% refund of program fees will be issued in the event a class is cancelled by the Park District

Full refunds will be issued for any program cancelled by the Park District.

All other refunds may be requested, but not guaranteed, based on the following schedule and policies. 

Refund schedule is as follows:

  • 7+ Days prior to first session: Participants may request for a full refund less a $10 processing fee per class.

  • 3 to 6 days prior to first session: Participants may request refund equal to 50% of registration fee.

  • Requests received with less than 48 hours may be granted only in cases of extreme illness or injury when accompanied with a doctor’s note and verification.

  • No refunds are allowed after the start of a class or program.
