* Art Classes @ RTWNCArt Classes @ RTWNC

Time: 5:00 pm

This program gives kids a chance to explore their creativity and express through color. We’ll focus mainly on drawing and also using a variety of mediums like colored pencils, pastels (both oil & chalk), charcoal, watercolor, ink, acrylic paints, etc. Exposure will also be given to oil painting at an advanced level. We’ll draw from observation and reference paintings/photographs and later develop our ideas to create a composition. We’ll also experiment to use our imagination as we progress. We’ll paint on paper and later on canvas. Holding a pencil correctly, using a brush and applying colors appropriately will be taught in this course. Students will need to provide their art supplies. The list will be provided before the beginning of the first class. Class meets once a week, 4 classes per session.
